Freeze is still a villain, establishing the game has no connection to the Arkham Series. Then not only do we see Barbara Gordon with working legs (which wouldn't be that surprising considering what happened in New 52), we're also told Jim Gordon is dead, and still later see Mr. Bait-and-Switch: The trailer begins with a newscaster discussing events very similar to the ending of Batman: Arkham Knight implying this game is a new entry in that series.When the Knights break into the GCPD Morgue for unrelated reasons, they find Talia doing just that.
